Monday, June 23, 2003 ( 11:26 AM ) Sarah Mae Been really busy at the Conference. Got lots of free books. Tonight will hear Margaret Atwood speak and go to cocktail party for UCLA IS department. Weather has been wonderful. Avoiding SARS and West Nile Virus. # Tuesday, June 17, 2003 ( 1:02 PM ) Sarah Mae I had an interview yesterday for a cataloging position at LA County. I think it went decently. I will be leaving tomorrow for the ALA conference in Toronto. They will have an internet cafe so maybe I'll give conference updates. That'll be exciting # Wednesday, June 11, 2003 ( 11:37 PM ) Sarah Mae I have added a link to Shawn's Blog w/in a blog. The highlights of my trip: I fell off of a mule at the Grand Canyon. I came out ahead $14.75 after betting with $75 on quarter slots and video poker. We saw Penn and Teller at the Rio and got their autographs. In other news I scored 88.5, band 2 on the LA County interview. # Wednesday, June 04, 2003 ( 6:32 PM ) Sarah Mae Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Not that it seems to matter because you're all having fun with the comments. I am in the process of finishing up my last two papers, ever! Then I will be on the 10:50 pm Greyhound to Las Vegas to meet my family. I'll be back in touch after the 11th. # |
